Close to the border with Rwanda, in Northern Burundi lies the Rwiri washing station. The Yagikawa cooperative founded in 2007, plays a critical role in allowing smallholder farms to get their coffee to market. This is a well executed and elegant coffee, with berry notes throughout the cup. It's little wonder this clean and juicy coffee has been requested to be brought back into rotation.
